About the Show
The last authentic Fish Car in the United States is rescued from historic oblivion by the Mid-Continent Railway Museum. From the 1870’s to the 1920’s nearly every state and Federal Fish and Game Agency used the speciality railway carriages widely. Today, few recall how they stocked the lakes and streams with fish fry, to serve the westward expanding population as both food and recreation. After years of reverse engineering and restoration challenges, Wisconsin’s Badger Number 2 is back on track.
