WWII Doolittle's Raiders

About the Show

Documentary witnessing the surviving veterans from one of World War II's greatest military missions as they raise their glasses for a final toast to commemorate their April 1942 raid on Japan. The Doolittle Tokyo Raiders, American flyers aboard 16 B-25 bombers, accomplished a daring attack that boosted US morale. Led by Lt Col James Harold Doolittle, they had taken the fight directly to the enemy for the first time and delivered retribution for Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941.
