Memories of D-Day

June 6th 1944. Operation Overlord begins. Landing alongside the Allied troops were cameramen and photographers tasked with recording the experience of the British troops. Explore the images and recollections of veteran photographers Peter Norris, Harry Oakes, John Aldred and Peter Handford, and discover D-Day through the eyes of British soldiers as photographed on the ground.
