Maggie's War

A documentary that reveals the heroic story of platoon leader James 'Maggie' Megellas, a native of Wisconsin, who led H-Company of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment through some of the deadliest battles of World War II, including the Battle of Anzio, Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge. Seven decades after he became the most highly decorated officer in the history of the 82nd Airborne Division, Megellas, now a retired lieutenant colonel, returns to Europe with a small group of family, friends and 82nd Airborne veterans to visit war memorials and old battlefields.
