About the Show

In the year 1519, Portuguese captain Ferdinand Magellan and his crew set sail on behalf of the Spanish crown - on one of the greatest maritime adventures in history. The first circumnavigation of the world was comparable to the space travel of the 20th century. For the first time, humans succeeded in getting a glimpse of the true dimension of the Earth.
