About the Show
The dramatic story of Grand Central Terminal's construction in New York City in response to a fatal railway accident in a tunnel at the Grand Central Depot in 1902. When it opened on 12 February 1913, the press heralded Grand Central as the greatest railway terminal in the world, and by 1947 over 65 million people had travelled through the station. It remains one of America's most famous spaces and is a living monument to the nation's great railway age.
