Bruce Lee and the Outlaw

About the Show

Hustling to survive around Bucharest’s North Station, street kid Nicu is taken under the wing of drug dealer and self-proclaimed king of Bucharest’s underworld, Bruce Lee. Filmed over six years and directed by Joost Vandebrug, this award-winning documentary charts Nicu’s life in the network of tunnels built by Ceausescu as central heating ducts for the city. It’s a tough existence, but when Nicu encounters aid worker Raluca he has a choice. Join her above ground, and lead a ‘normal’ life, or return to Bruce and his friends in the tunnels.
